Mental Illness and Disability: Core Need and Care

In this first keynote session of the Ministry to the Marginalized conference, Kay Warren discusses how churches can care for those with mental illness and disability. She shares two stories with very different outcomes and emphasizes a universal core need: everyone needs to know that they are the beloved of God, that there is a seat for them at the table where their voice can be heard and their pain can find meaning and that their gifts are recognized. Kay addresses this universal need through Scripture.
