Faith, Work, and Giving

Throughout church history, faithful Christian leaders have worked within dynamic communities to establish justice, mercy, and shalom for the common good. They labored for the sake of the gospel, and their endeavors produced lasting fruit. History tells of their generosity in establishing community centers; preventative health care, rehabilitation, and counseling facilities; schools; hospitals; libraries; orphanages; and many other common-good amenities. As followers of Christ, we recognize our Matthew 5:16 call to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a world in need of his love and generosity. In this Faith and Work Webinar, we discuss how our finances, time, and other gifts can be generously stewarded for God’s kingdom purposes. We also consider how we can equip others to do the same.
