About the Virtual Event

Healthcare and ministry professionals find themselves on the frontlines grappling with the complex landscape of addiction. Challenging discourses surrounding addiction shed light on the need for open engagement. The Christian Medical & Dental Associations and Dallas Theological Seminary cordially invite you to join us as we confront the intersections of addressing addiction from the theological and healthcare communities.

We aim to delve into the medical and spiritual dimensions of caring for those struggling with addiction, crafting a comprehensive approach to aid those navigating various forms of dependency. This journey towards wellness necessitates meaningful collaboration between caregivers, tending to body and soul. Attendees can anticipate a dynamic and enlightening conversation, fostering a holistic understanding of addiction that transcends disciplinary boundaries. We are excited to facilitate this crucial dialogue and encourage you to seize this opportunity to engage virtually in this pertinent and practical conversation. About Our Partnership

The Convergence is an annual gathering of theological and healthcare communities hosted by The Christian Medical & Dental Associations and The Hendricks Center at Dallas Theological Seminary. Each year, we identify a “Critical Conversation” where medical realities and biblical truths interconnect. Some previous conversations have included the right of conscience and questions concerning gender and identity. We also host webinars and would love you to join us at our next one!
