Speakers

Erin Beasley

Free People Serve People (Galatians 5:13-16)

Erin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theatre in 2012, certain she would one day perform on Broadway—but the Lord had different plans. After that dream ended, she followed a call to seminary. At DTS, she discovered a passion for guiding and teaching women—especially hurting ones—and encouraging them by showing them the real love of God. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Media Arts and Worship in December 2024 and hopes to continue ministering to women through writing and teaching. Though she no longer has Broadway aspirations, she still counts singing as one of her greatest pleasures and writes songs when she feels inspired. She lives in Garland, Texas, with her husband of nine years, James; their three-year-old son, Malcolm; and their old-lady rescue dog, Leia.

Amanda Essenmacher

Our Hope Has a Name (John 11:23-27)

Amanda Essenmacher has a deep love for Jesus and a passion for the church. She and her husband, Mark, have three daughters. Since returning from mission work in Chile, she has served full-time as a minister at Grace Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She also has extensive experience in Christian education as both a teacher and an administrator. Amanda is eager to develop leaders, and she speaks frequently at her church and at various events across the Southwest US, telling the story of Jesus in fresh, insightful ways. The themes of grief and hope regularly surface in her teaching. She earned a bachelor’s in social work from the University of Kansas and a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix. Currently a ThM student at Dallas Theological Seminary, she expects to graduate in May 2025.

Madelyn Fitzpatrick

“Living” in Light of Eternity (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Born and raised in California, Madelyn received her BS in Criminal Justice from California Baptist University and is now in her final year at Dallas Theological Seminary pursuing her Master of Arts in Christian Education. Through the teaching of God’s Word, she wants to develop and equip leaders and inspire fellow believers to live on fire for Christ. She is married to her best friend, Noah, and they enjoy hiking, hosting friends, and game nights.

Elizabeth Lynberg

Find Rest in Jesus (Mark 6:30-32)

Elizabeth recently earned a Master of Biblical and Theological Studies from DTS. She served in various ministry roles over the years, from leading small-group Bible studies to training new small-group leaders and speaking at women’s retreats. Today, she is Director of Family Ministries at her home church in Chatham County, North Carolina. In that role, she supports parents as they raise their children to follow Jesus Christ. She has been married to Mike for twenty-seven years, and they have two sons.

Courtney Shepard

Stop Spewing Pollution & Speak the Solution (James 3:9-12)

Courtney grew up in a small church in Kentucky, where she first discovered her love for the Lord and his people. After obtaining a nursing degree and traveling across the US as a travel nurse, she felt the Lord nudging her to start an online Bible study. This fueled her thirst for more knowledge about God and his Word. Courtney soon moved to Dallas, where she completed her Master of Arts in Christian Education with a concentration on ministry with women at DTS. She is married to Isaac Shepard, who is pursuing his ThM at DTS. They have one son, Azariah Joseph Shepard. She now interns for Chrystal Evans Hurst’s ministry, serves the women’s ministry within her local church, hosts the Scripture with the Shepards podcast with her husband, and ministers across various online platforms.

Talitha Summers

Jesus Answers Our Hesitation with Himself (John 20:24-29)

Born and raised in Texas, Talitha earned her bachelor’s degree in math education from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Formerly a high school math, college readiness, and mentorship teacher in Mesquite, Texas, she is now earning a Master of Arts in Christian Education at DTS. Talitha enjoys learning about and teaching God’s Word. She is passionate about giving everyone access to deep theological and biblical truth. When not studying or reading, Talitha loves watching sports, reading, and traveling to mountains.
