Speakers

Lisa Adams

A Good God Gives Good Gifts (Matthew 7:7–11)

Lisa lives in the beautiful Roanoke Valley of Virginia with her husband, Ben, their three children—David (14), Elanor (11), and Brennan (8)—and their Cavapoo puppy, Cosmo. She graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Christian Education in May 2023, and now serves as Director of Christian Education at Bonsack Baptist Church. She is passionate about intersecting God’s Word and God’s people, helping people grow in relationship with God and others as they study the Bible in community. She also enjoys reading a good book over a cup of tea or coffee, conversations with friends, and relaxing outdoors. Her message is born out of a series of disappointments through which she rediscovered God’s goodness.

Kabwe Benaya

Application is Everything! (James 1:22–25)

Kabwe serves as the founder and primary Instructor for the flourishing weekly women's Bible Study group at Smythe Street Church in New Brunswick, Canada. In addition, she is an online Instructor for the Opened Bible Academy (OBA), in Houston, Texas. Kabwe earned her Ph.D. in Social Statistics from the University of Southampton, UK, and previously taught undergraduate studies at the University of Zambia. In pursuit of a deeper understanding of God’s Word and to follow her calling, Kabwe enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary, where she successfully completed her master’s degree in Christian Education in May 2023. Born in Zambia, she has resided in Canada for the past 17 years. She lives with her best friend and husband of 25 years, Dr. Sebastian Benaya, along with their two daughters—Mwape (21) and Tasheni (17)—and a son, Chibale (15).

Kristi Briggs

You are Called to Build the Church (1 Peter 2:4–9)

A Texan most of her life, Kristi and her husband of 30 years raised four children and are now expecting their first grandbaby. For much of her adult life, she stayed home with her children, led Bible studies, and volunteered in different ministries. She has published five Bible studies, currently teaches her adult community group, mentors at the local pregnancy center, and speaks at women's events. Kristi has loved her seminary journey and is a bit bittersweet about her upcoming graduation this May.

Natasha Mathilda

Choose Unity Through Humility (Philippians 2:1–4)

Natasha was born and raised on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao. She earned a Master of Laws in Dutch law from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. She is a student wife. Luigi, her husband of nine years, graduated last Spring with his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. During her time in Dallas, she audited many courses and served on the leadership team of Thrive DTS Wives. She is passionate about God’s word. Her desire is to see the gospel impact the daily lives of women through  studying and understanding the Scriptures.

Callie Millier

Acting Through Faith Unleashes Jesus’ Power and Compassion (Luke 8:44–49)

Callie loves to show others the joy-giving truths of the Bible and encourage their relationship with Christ. Born and raised in Texas, she received a BA from Austin College and a MA in history from the University of North Texas. In 2009 she married her ‘Roo sweetheart, Drake, who is a wonderful father to their daughter, Elizabeth. Hiking, fly-fishing, or camping, they love their outdoor adventures together. Currently, Callie is pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary and is excited to see God’s plans unfold.

Cameron Ward

Let Christ’s Compassion Comfort You in Sorrow (Hebrews 4:14–16)

Cameron Ward sensed the Lord calling her to teach the Bible as soon as she began reading it at age 12. After graduating from Auburn University, Cameron stepped into vocational ministry. She is passionate about seeing women learn to study their Bibles with confidence and joy, and hardly anything excites her as much as a room full of women seeking God together. Cameron is pursuing a Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary. She serves on staff at Christ Chapel Bible Church and calls Fort Worth, Texas home.
