Speakers
Bill Hendricks
Bill Hendricks is Executive Director for Christian Leadership at the Center and President of The Giftedness Center, where he serves individuals making key life and career decisions. He is also one of the hosts of The Table Podcast. A graduate of Harvard University, Boston University, and Dallas Theological Seminary, Bill has authored or co-authored numerous books, and sits on the steering committee for The Theology of Work Project. He is married to Lynn Turpin Hendricks and is the proud father of three daughters. He keeps a list of people wanting to try his Mexican food and award-winning Lone Star chili.
Mark Matlock
Mark Matlock serves as Executive Director of the Urbana Missions Conference with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and as a Senior Fellow at Barna Group, where his research focuses on the intersection of faith and culture. He is also an ordained minister who served on the teaching team at Irving Bible Church for twenty years. He is the author of more than twenty books, including Faith for the Curious and co-author, with David Kinnaman, of Faith for Exiles. Mark and his wife, Jade, have been married since 1992 and have two adult children living on opposite coasts in California and New York. Mark and Jade live in Flower Mound, TX.
Roger Poupart
Roger Poupart serves as the Director of Doctor of Ministry Studies and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministries. Prior to joining the DTS faculty, Dr. Poupart served for more than 30 years as a Senior Pastor, leading churches in Kaufman, TX; Des Moines, IA; and San Antonio, TX. Dr. Poupart has a heart for training leaders worldwide, having taught in pastoral institutes and seminaries in Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Uganda, Rwanda, Liberia, India, China, and Kazakhstan.
Before entering the pastorate, Dr. Poupart served as a Dallas Police Officer. He has utilized his experience to serve the community and first responders in the areas of Crisis Counseling and Critical Incident Involvement. Dr. Poupart served as an on-scene chaplain for the 2014 Wedgewood High Rise Fire in San Antonio, TX; the 2016 Police shooting in Dallas, TX; the 2017 Church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas; and the 2022 Robb Elementary shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Roger has been married to Kim for 38 years, and they have been blessed with 2 daughters and a son.
