The Leader Board is a series of five half-day leadership development sessions designed to equip marketplace leaders to impact their spheres of influence for the kingdom of God.

What happens at each session?

Each Leader Board session will feature:

  • Leadership principles from the Bible taught by Dallas Theological Seminary professors
  • Real-world insight from recognized leaders including a Q&A session
  • Interaction with other marketplace leaders and opportunities to be encouraged and challenged

Cherie Harder

Cherie Harder is president of The Trinity Forum in Washington, D.C. She served in the Bush White House as special assistant to the president, as well as director of policy and projects for First Lady Laura Bush. Earlier assignments include policy advisor to Senator Bill Frist, senior counselor to the chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, policy director for Senator Sam Brownback, and deputy policy director at Empower America. Cherie’s writings have appeared in The New York TimesThe Wall Street Journal, and numerous other national publications.

Brian Mosley

Brian Mosley is the president of RightNow Media. His passion is to help people live out their faith in their neighborhoods, offices, schools, homes and worldwide. The 140 people at RightNow Media serve over 15,000 churches, ministries and Christian business owners with powerful video content that inspires people to action. Brian graduated from Baylor University and then married his high school sweetheart, Julie. They have four kids, Abby, Grant, Ashley, and Tristan. They worship and serve at Allen Bible Church where Brian is also an elder.

Peter Greer

Session Speaker

Peter Greer is president and chief executive officer of HOPE International, a global, Christ-centered microenterprise development organization serving indigenous entrepreneurs throughout the globe. Peter previously worked as an international microfinanance advisor in Cambodia, technical advisor for Self-Help Development Foundation in Zimbabwe, and managing director for Urwego Community Bank in Rwanda. In addition to speaking nationally on the Church’s role in missions and alleviating extreme poverty, Peter is frequently featured in major media outlets such as CNN, ForbesChristianity Today, and World Magazine.

DEE Ann Turner

Dee Ann Turner is vice president of Enterprise Social Responsibility for Chick-fil-A where she began her career more than 30 years ago. She has played a strategic part in growing Chick-fil-A’s unique and highly regarded culture, overseeing the recruitment and retention of corporate staff as well as franchisees. Her first book, It’s My Pleasure: The Impact of Extraordinary Talent and a Compelling Culture, reveals the “secret sauce” behind the company’s revolutionary business model.

Tom Landis

Session Speaker

Tom Landis is a Dallas-based restaurateur and special needs advocate. Since 1996 he has opened fourteen restaurants (including Texadelphia stores), the most recent being Howdy Homemade, the first for-profit restaurant specifically designed to employ people with special needs. Throughout his career, Tom has intentionally provided avenues for the marginalized to succeed. He has received the Ryan Albers Lifetime Achievement Award, The Center for Nonprofit Management’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and the LULAC Businessman of the Year Award.
