The Leader Board is a series of five half-day leadership development sessions designed to equip marketplace leaders to impact their spheres of influence for the kingdom of God.

Each Leader Board session will feature:

  • Leadership principles from the Bible taught by Dallas Theological Seminary professors
  • Real-world insight from recognized leaders including a Q&A session
  • Interaction with other marketplace leaders and opportunities to be encouraged and challenged

Session Speaker

Virginia Prodan is an international speaker, author, and attorney. Exiled from Romania since 1988 for defending fellow followers of Christ in Romania, Virginia frequently speaks of her well-known story of sharing the Gospel in the face of her assassin who was hired by the Romanian government to end her life. She has shared her story on multiple news outlets, television shows, published articles, and has served as a keynote speaker at large public forums. Virginia currently resides in Dallas, TX, where she enjoys practicing law, speaking, writing, attending the opera, and traveling for pleasure. She has two daughters, Anca and Andreea, and a son, Emanuel.

As retired President and CEO of Christianity Today, Harold B. Smith led dynamic communications that featured print publications, assorted e-newsletters and blogs, resources for pastors and church leaders, and www.christianitytoday.com—read by over 5 million visitors each month. Since retiring after 35-years with Christianity Today in May, 2019, Harold has been honored by the Board of Directors with the title of Christianity Today President Emeritus. Well known for his effective speaking on a variety of timely matters related to media influence and the church and culture, Harold is currently focusing his energies on coming alongside younger ministry executives as a support in their growth to become faithful and effective Kingdom leaders. Harold has been married to his best friend, Judy, for 45 years and they have two grown sons: Andrew and Kevin.

A legend and leader in the hotel world, Horst Schulze‘s teachings and vision have reshaped the concepts of service and hospitality across industries. Mr. Schulze’s professional life began over 65 years ago as a server’s assistant in a German resort town and continued under various hotel chains until he became one of the founding members of The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company in 1983, where he created the operating and service standards that have become world famous. After leaving The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, he founded The Capella Hotel Group which manages elite luxury properties and serves as a consultant across industries. He recently completed his seminal book on creating excellence, Excellence Wins, and partnered with Arch + Tower and NeedToLead.com to produce a comprehensive masterclass of employee and customer experience training content.

Gary Lindblad

Session Speaker

Gary Lindblad, Dean of the Crowell School of Business at Biola University, has been passionately committed to education for over 35 years. After undergrad Gary went on to earn an MA in Christian Education from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University, as well as an MA and doctorate in higher education, work, and organizational change from UCLA. Gary began his career in business schools where he directed ministry outreach programs for undergraduate students. Over the span of his career, he taught in academic settings ranging from junior high up to graduate level. His current interests include following innovations in business education, the faith at work movement, the digitally-enabled music industry, and the influence social media has on all forms of education and the creative class. Gary and Cindi have been married for over 40 years and have two children, Matthew and Grace.

Tom Lehman

Session Speaker

Multiple award winner, #1 World Ranking golfer in 1997, 12-time champion, and 5-time PGA Tour winner Tom Lehman is a legend on the golf course. After countless wins and trophies, Tom continues to flourish in his sport and serve several charitable organizations in the Phoenix and Minneapolis areas. Tom raised $4.2 million dollars for his charity golf tournament in Minneapolis, with the proceeds going toward the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. His excellence in golf and focus on charitable organizations have made him not only a legend of a golfer, but also a leader of stewardship in his sport. Tom and his wife Melissa have four children, Rachael, Holly, Thomas, and Sean.
