The Table is a weekly podcast on topics related to God, Christianity, and cultural engagement brought to you by the Hendricks Center at Dallas Theological Seminary. The show features interviews with expert guests and each episode is hosted by Dr. Darrell Bock, Bill Hendricks, or Kymberli Cook.
Meet The Hosts

Dr. Darrell Bock
Darrell L. Bock is Senior Research Professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He also serves as Executive Director of Cultural Engagement at the Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership. He is Staff Advisor at Bent Tree Fellowship in Carrollton, Texas. He has served on the board of Chosen People Ministries for over two decades. In addition, he serves on the board at Wheaton College, currently chairing the Academic Affairs subcommittee, as well as on the board with the Institute for Global Engagement and Christians in Public Service (CIPS). He is a graduate of the University of Texas (B.A.), Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and the University of Aberdeen (Ph.D.). He has had four annual stints of post‑doctoral study at the University of Tübingen, the second through fourth as an Alexander von Humboldt scholar (1989-90, 1995-96, 2004-05, 2010-2011). He also serves as elder emeritus at Trinity Fellowship Church in Richardson, Texas, and as an advisor to the elders and staff at Bent Tree Fellowship in Carrollton, Texas. He partners with Christianity Today, served as President of the Evangelical Theological Society for the year 2000-2001, and has authored or edited around 50 books, including a New York Times Best Seller in non-fiction, numerous works on Jesus and the gospels, and Cultural Intelligence: Living for God in a Diverse, Pluralistic World. He love sports on virtually every continent. He was going to be a sport broadcaster before he was redirected by God to NT studies. Just ask him about Cricket, Aussie Rules Football, Rugby, or any soccer league. He is married to Sally and has three married children (two daughters and a son), three grandsons and two granddaughters.

Bill Hendricks
Bill Hendricks is Executive Director for Christian Leadership at the Center and President of The Giftedness Center, where he serves individuals making key life and career decisions. A graduate of Harvard, Boston University, and DTS, Bill has authored or co-authored numerous books, and sits on the Steering Committee for The Theology of Work Project. He is married to Lynn Turpin Hendricks, and is the proud father of three daughters. He keeps a list of people wanting to try his Mexican food and award-winning Lone Star chili.

Kymberli Cook
Kymberli Cook is the Assistant Director at the Hendricks Center, a ThM graduate, and a PhD student in the Theological Studies department at Dallas Theological Seminary, focusing on the image of God, providence, and the unique giftings God has given each of us. She enjoys thinking deeply concerning the intersection of theology, humanity, and society. Strangely enough, Kym was not thrilled with being on her first podcast or two as a guest, but as soon as she got to host, she was hooked!

Dr. Mikel Del Rosario
Dr. Mikel Del Rosario helps Christians find clear answers to tough questions about Christianity and explain the faith with courage and compassion. He is an Associate Professor of Bible and Theology at Moody Bible Institute. Previously, he taught Christian Apologetics and World Religion at William Jessup University and Digital Media for Ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has published over 30 journal articles on apologetics and cultural engagement in Bibliotheca Sacra with his mentor, Dr. Darrell Bock. He holds an M.A. in Christian Apologetics with highest honors from Biola University, along with a Master of Theology (Th.M) and a Ph.D in Biblical Studies (Emphasis in New Testament Studies) from Dallas Theological Seminary where he served as Project Manager for Cultural Engagement at the Hendricks Center, producing and hosting The Table podcast. He has also served in the Philippines as a missionary professor with Converge Worldwide and a youth pastor to refugees and multicultural students in California. Dr. Mark Bailey
Dr. Bailey assumed the role of DTS Chancellor after serving for 19 years as the Seminary’s fifth President, and continues his role as Sr. Professor in the Bible Exposition department. In addition to his years at Dallas Theological Seminary, he has pastored various churches in Arizona and Texas. He was a seminar instructor for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries for twenty years and is in demand for Bible conferences and other preaching engagements all over the country and world. His overseas ministries have included Venezuela, Argentina, Hungary, and China. He is also a regular tour leader in Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and Rome. His board service includes Bible Study Fellowship, Walk Thru the Bible Ministries, and Word of Life.
